Earlier today we held our first ever Partner Day at Coalesce, meeting in-person for the first time with many of our technology and consulting partners. We wanted to take the opportunity to recognize specific partners and individuals whose contributions to dbt Labs and the dbt Community went above and beyond this past year.
We’re happy to announce today the 2022 dbt Community Champions, the dbt Certification Award Winners, and our 2022 Consulting Partner of the Year.
dbt Community Champions
The dbt Technology Partnership Program is made up of dozens of companies with innovative tooling and infrastructure that complement and extend dbt’s capabilities. Within those companies are individuals that proactively and generously share their expertise and insights with the dbt Community. This work is valued and often done without expectation of anything in return. We want to recognize the following individuals for their work that they give to the dbt Community.

dbt Certification Award Winners
The dbt Labs Training Team launched the dbt Certification Program in July 2022 to codify the data development best practices that we know enable safe, confident, and impactful use of dbt. Since then, over 200 people have received the dbt Developer certification.
The dbt Certification Awards recognizes our Consulting & SI Partners who have done the most to certify their team in the 3 months since we launched the Certification Program.
We are grateful to these partners who have made a clear, conscientious effort to ensure that their teams are implementing dbt according to dbt development best practices, and believe their clients and prospective clients will benefit from their expertise.

Consulting Partner of the Year
We are grateful to have over 150 data analytics consultancies in the dbt Labs Consulting Partnership program, each bringing their analytics expertise and capabilities to their work with clients. This year, one consulting partner has stood out for its team’s technical skills and ability to successfully implement dbt Cloud in collaboration with the dbt Labs. The winner of the 2022 Consulting Partner of the Year Award is Slalom.
