We’re so energized by the dbt Community coming together, tackling challenges and sharing successes at Coalesce 2023 last week. Whether you joined us online, in San Diego, London, or Sydney, or you’re catching up on our announcements and sessions now, we’re grateful you’re here.

Here’s a breakdown of what happened at Coalesce 2023 (and you can also read dbt Labs founder Tristan Handy’s recap of Coalesce):

dbt Cloud new features

First, there are product announcements galore: dbt Mesh, dbt Semantic Layer, dbt Explorer, dbt Cloud CLI, dbt CI enhancements.

Make sure to check out the opening keynote. Tristan Handy and Luis Maldonado lay out the challenges of complexity our customers face, and how dbt Cloud allows data teams to remain agile, maintain quality and consistency across a wide assortment of data products, to help teams deliver more value from data. Be sure to watch Luis’ conversation with the team from Fifth Third Bank Kayleigh Lavorini, VP - Director of Product Ownership, Data Strategy, and Ben Rottinghaus, SVP, Senior Director, Data Engineering about their journey to scale their data practice with dbt Cloud.
