VISTA Platform Hackathon - ING, dbt Labs & Google

May 19-20

Accelerate ING’s dbt journey with a hands‑on hackathon, learn about dbt Cloud on the Vista platform. Explore both the fundamentals as well as advanced capabilities. Build real use cases on dbt Cloud and BigQuery guided directly by experts from dbt Labs, Google, and ING.

DAY 1: Introduction & Demo (half day)

ING's team will provide an introduction to the VISTA platform. This is followed by a live demonstration led by dbt Labs and Google, showing dbt features on BigQuery, including dbt Mesh, AI-powered code generation, and the Semantic Layer. Following this we will look at how these elements align with the Vista roadmap.

DAY 2: Hands-On Workshop (full day)

Work directly in the dbt environment, where you will build, test and explore dbt with experts from dbt Labs and Google in the room to help. Participants will use real-life use cases to explore how VISTA and dbt accelerates data delivery.

Registrants will receive additional information about pre-requisites.
