About the workshop

During our annual conference, Coalesce 2023, we announced the biggest dbt Cloud features: dbt Semantic Layer, dbt Mesh and dbt Explorer. What better way to kick start this year with an in-person workshop?

These new features are geared to help our customers solve problems of complexity. As organisations—and organisational data—grow in complexity, it becomes increasingly difficult for data teams to remain agile, maintain quality and consistency across a wide assortment of data products, and keep spend under control.

For this workshop, you will:

• dbt Mesh: Learn how to configure dbt Cloud and dbt Projects to utilise cross-project ref, so that you can get started on your dbt Mesh journey
• dbt Semantic Layer: see how to query standardised metrics using the dbt Semantic Layer

Note this workshop is better suited for those who already have knowledge of dbt.
