dbt Summit 2026 Terms & Conditions
I understand and agree that dbt Labs has an interest and obligation in protecting the health and well-being of dbt Labs staff, venue staff, and other attendees.
Any in-person gathering or meeting holds inherent risks, including exposure to COVID-19, and other serious, easily-transmittable viruses or diseases (an "Illness").
I agree to not attend any dbt Labs event if I know or suspect I have an illness, have a positive test or diagnosis of an Illness, or had recent exposure to an individual who is/may be infected with an Illness.
When attending in person, I will take necessary precautions in accordance with local and national health guidelines and regulations.
The building or venue may have public health-related requirements in place, and I agree to abide by those requirements when disclosed by the venue.
Terms of Participation
My attendance at this event is my consent to the terms of this Health and Safety Policy and Terms of Participation and my agreement to abide by them.
I agree to learn more about dbt Labs and dbt Labs-related services, products, news, updates and events. I consent to the information I submit here being used for such purposes by dbt Labs, and my company name may be shared with select partners. To later opt-out or ask privacy/information questions, I will contact either the contact in the last bullet point (for privacy questions) or strategicevents@dbtlabs.com (for all other questions related to the event).
dbt Labs does not sell, share or disclose registrant personal information to third parties except to the extent dbt Labs uses or shares registrant personal information with dbt Labs affiliates and/or trusted business partners, including (without limitation) event agents and providers for purposes of planning, hosting, and administering the Event, communicating about Event partner products, services, news, and events, and marketing by dbt Labs and/or its Event partners.
By registering and/or attending, I consent to dbt Labs' sharing records of my image, voice, and participation in discussions/talks/networking (for the purpose of facilitating remote attendance, website accuracy, participation, marketing, and education for participants with health, travel or other constraints).
I agree that dbt Labs, by hosting an event, has not undertaken any obligation to provide an environment free of any Illness, cannot reasonably enforce public health-related requirements, relies on attendees' compliance, and cannot assume liability for the behavior of attendees, venue staff, or third parties.
I agree that I will review and conform my behavior to all applicable laws and the dbt Labs Community Code of Conduct at the event found at https://www.getdbt.com/community/code-of-conduct/ (the law and Code of Conduct, collectively the "Code") and, without prior permission, will refrain from recording, photographing, and/or publishing the likenesses, opinions, personal data, and slides/content of other attendees, speakers and staff.
To the extent I use the internet service provided for the event by either dbt Labs, the venue or their contractor, I agree to follow these Acceptable Internet Use Guidelines:
I will use the service responsibly;
I will comply with industry standards and all applicable laws and regulations; and
I acknowledge and understand that I am strictly prohibited from intrusive, illegal, unethical, or disruptive activities including but not limited to unauthorized access to systems, distribution of harmful, malicious or intrusive software, interference with another attendee's use of the network, surveillance, recording or tracking of users, reverse engineering the security features, and accessing, uploading or sharing illegal content.
dbt Labs reserves the right to monitor and record network activity.
I understand and agree that badge sharing is not allowed. I will not permit my badge to be used by any other individual other than myself.
I understand and agree that this is a professional event, and I will be professional at all times. I acknowledge that my failure to comply with the Code and these Terms and Conditions, as determined by dbt Labs in its sole discretion, may result in certain lawful actions deemed necessary by dbt Labs and depending on the circumstances. I agree to comply with any requested actions that may include, but not be limited to, request(s) to conform my behavior, requirement(s) that I leave the premises for part or the remainder of the Event, report(s) to security and/or law enforcement, and/or bans from future dbt Labs events. I also understand and agree that dbt Labs may share the violation, circumstances, and decision taken with authorities, venue personnel, security, sponsors, trusted partners, affiliates, my employer, and any other person as dbt Labs determines in its sole discretion. I understand and agree to fully cooperate with any action taken by dbt Labs, and I understand that dbt Labs will not provide a refund if my behavior results in missing part or all of the remaining Event.
While we actively support the broader ecosystem around dbt Labs, it is not the right business decision for us to allow directly competitive companies to market to or sell to our users and customers at events that we invest very significant company resources into hosting. We reserve the right in our sole discretion at any time to prohibit certain competitive behavior and/or the attendance or sponsoring of dbt Labs events by directly competitive companies.
To maintain a fair and professional environment for our sponsors and attendees, dbt Labs reserves the right to prohibit any non-sponsoring company or individual from distributing flyers, leaflets, marketing materials, conducting product demonstrations, or otherwise publicly promoting their products or services within the Event venue.
dbt Labs agrees to refund the full price paid for tickets ("Refund") if a registrant cancels in the attendee portal prior to August 15, 2026. Any refund will be returned to the original card used for payment. Other than a request for Refund received prior to such date, no cancellations after August 15, 2026, are eligible for any full or partial refunds. For Refunds prior to August 15, 2026,
Log back into your attendee portal to cancel (or make changes) to your ticket order.
Non-attendance does not constitute cancellation.
Cancellations after August 15, 2026 cannot be accepted, and no Refunds will be provided thereafter, regardless of attendee portal submission.
Please remember that canceling or changing your registration has no effect on hotel or other travel arrangements. Aside from the costs of attendance, dbt Labs is not responsible for participants' hotel expenses, meals, and other travel arrangements, and these expenses cannot be refunded under any circumstances.
You may transfer your registration up until September 15, 2026, including your ticket, trainings or certifications by:
Inputting the change in the attendee portal; or
in written request to dbtsummit@dbtlabs.com by providing us the following accurate and complete information:
A request to transfer from you to your colleague;
Original registrant's name, email address, company and title; and
Colleague's name, email address, company and title.
Transfers are further subject to the limitations that follow. Once the transfer is completed, no more transfers may be completed for that registration, even if the original registrant wants to undo the transfer. A maximum of one (1) substitution per original registrant is allowed (if more than 1 week prior to the event), and no substitutions may be made after that date or to additional registrants beyond the original transfer. In the event the request to transfer registration is not properly completed by one of the foregoing methods prior to September 15, 2026, dbt Labs is under no obligation to allow the transfer, and will not provide refunds after August 15, 2026. Only the registration may be transferred between colleagues but dbt Labs has no liability for hotel reservations. New registrants, if any, will be required to log into the attendee portal and book their own reservations at one of our event hotels. We do not guarantee that hotel rooms can be cancelled or used by a person other than the person who originally booked the room.
A registration confirmation email will be sent to the registrant (including a new registrant pursuant to a transfer, if applicable) once registration is confirmed.
I agree that hosting an event does not give rise to dbt Labs being liable for any damages whatsoever in any form, including but not limited to consequential, indirect, or special damages. I agree to voluntarily assume all risk related to attending the event, including, but not limited to, exposure to Illness and agree to not hold dbt Labs, its staff or its venues liable for any Illness or harms aside from those resulting from dbt Labs' gross negligence or willful misconduct.
