How Docusign uses the dbt MCP server and Fusion to ship dbt faster
Analytics engineering is entering a new phase, one where AI can do more than assist with syntax and boilerplate. In this session, I’ll explore how the dbt platform and the dbt MCP server power a more AI-augmented analytics engineering workflow to help our teams move faster and improve consistency, quality, and developer experience.
I’ll walk through practical examples of how these tools support tasks like building models, modernizing legacy SQL, improving testing and documentation, and streamlining day-to-day development workflows. I’ll also share lessons learned, adoption considerations, and where AI-assisted workflows will have the biggest impact for analytics engineering teams.
This talk is for analytics engineers, data engineers, and data leaders who want to better understand how emerging dbt capabilities can help build trusted data products faster and more effectively.
