Sarah Fischbach

Sarah Fischbach, Staff Analytics Engineer at Checkr, leads their AI-ready data infrastructure initiative. Her work focuses on building the organizational context AI agents need to reason accurately about a business: the domain knowledge, business rules, and metric nuance that live in people's heads, not in a schema. She builds systems to capture and deliver that knowledge to AI as a core engineering discipline. Sarah has spent a decade in data, from founding analytics engineer to semantic layer architecture to AI context systems. Before that, she earned a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from UCSF, studying how biological systems encode context. It turns out the problem isn't that different.
