Eric Guroff

Eric is the Founder and CEO of Ratio PBC, a software and data consultancy that serves public sector health and human services agencies. Eric's first interaction with dbt came in 2018 when, as Director of Product for a health tech startup, his team hired Tristan @ Fishtown Analytics to help his engineering and data teams implement this new tool that would enable them to eliminate discrepancies across client-facing reporting through version control, consistent modeling, testing, etc. The business impact was immediate and significant, and Eric was quickly sold on dbt even before he got his hands on it.Fast forward, Eric is now a dbt user and evangelist, having brought dbt to state health agencies. He coaches state data teams on applying modern engineering practices to their data work.
