Dipti Borkar

Dipti Borkar is the Vice President for Microsoft IQ & OneLake, where she leads product strategy, engineering, innovation across these areas as well as the Microsoft Fabric Ecosystem. Her organization is focused on helping customers and partners unify, govern, and activate data at scale through AI-powered experiences, accelerating the transformation of data into business intelligence and actionable insights. A seasoned technology executive, entrepreneur, and product leader, Dipti brings over two decades of experience across cloud computing, AI, analytics, databases, and open-source technologies. Throughout her career, she has built and scaled high-performing teams, delivered innovative data platforms, and helped organizations unlock greater value from their data. A passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion, Dipti is dedicated to mentoring women in technology and open source. She also served as Chairperson of the Linux Foundation's Presto Foundation community. Dipti holds an M.S. in Computer Science (Databases) from UC San Diego, an MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley, and a B.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
