David Drummond

David Drummond is the Technical Lead for the Data Engineering team at Verily Health (formerly known as Google Life Sciences), where he builds AI-driven infrastructure for precision health solutions. He has led analytics engineering & data teams in the field of health care, leveraging dbt since 2020. David has mentored hundreds of engineers and analysts in data fields and helped create the Data Engineering curriculum for Udacity. He earned a PhD in Physics, with research focused on fault tolerance in quantum computing.
