Alexander Bogdanowicz

Alexander Bogdanowicz leads the Fusion engineering team at dbt Labs, which builds the next-generation compilation and execution layer. He joined dbt Labs through the acquisition of SDF Labs, where he was the company’s first engineer and helped build its SQL compiler, execution engine, and developer tooling. At dbt Labs, Alex led the technical integration of SDF into dbt and the development of the dbt Fusion engine before moving into engineering leadership for the broader Fusion organization. His work sits at the intersection of compilers, data infrastructure, developer tools, and the evolution of the analytics engineering workflow
