Aaron Mardis

Aaron Mardis is a customer solutions engineer at dbt Labs, based in LA by way of Iowa. Before dbt, he spent time at Abacus.AI and Datadog enabling customers via troubleshooting and onboarding support. He holds a B.A. in Mathematics from Grinnell College and an M.S. in Computer Science from Georgia Tech. Originally a licensed math teacher (grades 5 through 12), Aaron spent a year in Montenegro as a Fulbright ETA Fellow. It was there that he rekindled a passion for food and began doing plenty of his own cooking and baking. An avid LA foodie, Aaron dabbles in music as well. He sings with a couple of choirs around LA, including Selah Gospel Choir, and traces it back to his show choir days in high school.
