Take a “messy but working” dbt project and standardize it so it can scale across teams. In this session, you’ll follow a guided conformance workflow to improve structure, naming, configurations, documentation, and testing—ending with a repeatable checklist you can apply to your own projects.

After this lab, you will be able to:

• Identify common project anti-patterns that slow teams down as they scale
• Apply a structured conformance workflow to standardize conventions and reduce friction
• Leave with a conformance checklist your team can adopt for ongoing governance

• dbt Fundamentals

What to bring: You must bring your own laptop to complete the exercises. We will provide all other sandbox environments for dbt and a data platform.
