A nonprofit's journey: we walked so dbt could run
Wednesday, September 161:15 PM PT
What happens when a scrappy, tactical SQL warehouse meets its ceiling? For our nonprofit, it meant rethinking everything: from a monolithic, waterfall SQL setup where adding a single new table was a major undertaking, to a dbt-powered data platform built for scale.
This session traces the journey: what we learned, what we're still figuring out, and why the modularity and reusability of dbt is already changing how we ask questions of our data. If your organization is still in the walking phase, this one is for you.
