Seven use cases for dbt

Erik is an experienced data engineer that likes building distributed systems and juggling huge amounts of data. When he isn’t coding, he enjoys spending time with his family or working up a sweat at the local martial arts gym.

Pietro led the modernisation of financial systems, data stack, and process automation at EQT Partners. Prior to that, he led Financial Systems development teams at Spotify. He also worked in consulting at KPMG and Accenture where he led large scale BPM, ERP, and Performance Management projects mostly in the Financial and Health sectors.

The team at EQT recently used dbt to fuel an ambitious digital transformation program, and in doing so, used dbt for seven different use cases. In this talk, Pietro and Erik will run through those use-cases, and also share how they're using dbt's exposures feature.
